About Tennis at Chase Park
The Chase Park Advisory Council (MyChasePark.com), in partnership with Pop-Up Tennis Academy, proudly brings professional level tennis instruction to Chicago’s North Side community.
This collaboration was made possible through coordinated CRP programming at Chase Park in partnership with Chicago Recreation Providers and In-The-Parks.org (NFP), expanding access to high quality recreational opportunities for local families.
Our program delivers high caliber coaching comparable to traditional tennis clubs while remaining accessible and affordable. While we strive for excellence in instruction, our priority is quality programming, community, learning, affordability, and fun. We believe tennis should build strong fundamentals and strong relationships, creating confident players who enjoy the game for life.

We utilize Chase Park’s spacious outdoor courts during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. In late fall and winter, classes move indoors to the Chase Park gymnasium, as well as the gymnasium at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, ensuring consistent year round training opportunities.
Kids tennis classes are offered year round across all locations, allowing players to continue developing in every season.
Now entering our second summer season, our tennis camps have quickly become a standout highlight of the program and are filling rapidly. These camps combine dynamic tennis training with swimming, art, enrichment activities, active games, friendship building, and plenty of fun, creating an unforgettable summer experience both on and off the court.
Adult tennis classes are offered seasonally in the spring, summer, and fall.

We don't have a formal makeup policy, but if a class is canceled due to inclement weather, we do our best to reschedule whenever possible based on available time and court space. Our goal is to make sure every player gets the most out of their tennis experience, and we'll always communicate any schedule changes promptly.
In the winter, our kids' tennis classes are held indoors in the fieldhouse, where we create a full tennis experience by setting up a ready-made court with portable nets and equipment. Tennis skills are highly transferable between indoor and outdoor settings, so kids get the same high-quality instruction while learning that tennis can be played almost anywhere. This flexible setup allows us to deliver a consistent, engaging program regardless of weather or location.
